PURPOSE:To package the liquid crystal panel with high reliability at low cost. CONSTITUTION:An orientation film material 25 is formed outside an image display area 2 so that the edge of an anisotropic conductive film 17 on the side of the liquid crystal panel is on the orientation film material 25 when a flexible substrate 8 is connected through the anisotropic conductive film 17. Thus, the orientation film material 25 is interposed between the anisotropic conductive film 17 and a substrate to increase the adhesive strength between the surface of the substrate 3 and the anisotropic conductive film 17; and the entry of water, etc., from a border surface C is prevented to obtain high reliability and a resin for protection which protect the periphery of the connection part is eliminated to reduce the cost. |
