PURPOSE:To obtain a trapezoidal wave suitable for driving a motor by forming a square wave from a triangular wave by obtaining the triangular wave by integrating a prescribed clock signal and generating the short-pulse signal corresponding to the trough of the triangular wave, and then, forcibly lowering the potential at the trough of the triangular wave by using the short-pulse signal. CONSTITUTION:An integration circuit 50 generates the triangular wave corresponding to a pulse signal from signals inputted from an EX-OR circuit 40 and edge discharger 44 and supplies the triangular signal to a trapezoidal wave forming circuit 60. The circuit 60 generates a desired trapezoidal wave by combining the triangular wave supplied from the integration circuit 50 and six signals supplied from a data selector 30 and performing calculation and supplies the trapezoidal wave to a driver 70 through a three-differential amplifier 62. The driver 70 drives a brushless motor 10 by successively supplying power from a power sources VS to the coils 10u, 10v, and 10w of the motor 10 in accordance with the signal supplied from the amplifier 62. |
