PURPOSE: To increase the cleaning action of a photoreceptor in a pre-adjustment process and dual type electrostatic brush type cleaning device for reducing the adhesion of toner particles on the surface of the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION: The cleaning of bipolar toner, CAD(Charge Area Development) toner, and DAD(Discharge Area Development) toner is permitted by the pre-adjustment of a brush and/or a photoreceptor 10 in a cleaning device. In the pre-adjustment of the brush, once a print operation is started, the supply of the toner is not necessitated by an electrostatic technique for maintaining the toner in the brush in a certain prescribed level. |
