PURPOSE:To suppress leaked electromagnetic field and to reduce radiation loss by installing a ground surface on the wall on the side of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:By extending a ground surface 3 to the part of the same plane as the side wall of a substrate 2 or a strip part 1 in a planar microstrip line structure, the arrival of leaked electromagnetic field to the inner wall of a package is suppressed and the obtaining of a high Q value becomes possible. The same effect is obtained by providing a deut on the part of the substrate 2, the most part of leaked electromagnetic field is made to arrive at the ground surface and the arrival to the inner wall of the package is suppressed and a high Q microstrip line becomes possible to be manufactured. |
