PURPOSE:To prevent a cost from increasing while enabling an operator to be surely informed of receipt of operation of an operating element. CONSTITUTION:This display device is provided with one piece of LED 24 in order to display the operating states of the plural operating elements disposed in an operating element group 20 and determines the display mode of this LED 24 in a display mode determining section 22 according to the operating state of the operating elements detected by an operating state determining section 21. For example, the LED 24 is lighted at a high speed at the moment when any of the operating elements in the operating element group 20 is pushed. The LED 24 is flickered at a low speed when this operating element is held pressed. The operator is thereby surely informed of the operating states of the respective operating elements even if a buzzer, etc., for generating a click sound are not used. The need for disposing the many pieces of the LEDs is also eliminated. The cost is thus reduced. |
