POWER INTERRUPTION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To protect an electric appliance previously against over-loading while using power efficiently by interrupting power to electric appliances connected with adapters according to a priority set by a breaker when the current exceeds the contract limit. CONSTITUTION:Interruption signals are delivered to the receiver in an adapter 2 according to an order set by a setting means and a second circuit breaker 22 is actuated. The interruption signals are delivered sequentially until the current through the feeder circuit drops below a contract current limit. If the current of feeder circuit does not drop below the contract current limit even after the least significant interruption signal is delivered, a first circuit breaker functions. This system realizes efficient use of power and protects the electric appliance against over-loading due to abrupt power interruption.
