PURPOSE:To reduce the number of electrical component parts and shorten a work time by making it possible to mount and demount a protective cover of an electrical component housing box without demounting a front face frame of an indoor unit for an air-conditioner. CONSTITUTION:A recess la having a size slightly larger than that of a protective cover of an electrical component housing box is provided on a front face frame 1. A screw fixing part is provided at a position where the protective cover of the electrical component housing box can be mounted on and demounted from the recess 1a. Furthermore, a protruding rib 4b is provided on a rear face of the protective cover, and the covering of an indoor unit-outdoor unit connecting wire is compressed and fixed.
