PURPOSE:To provide a fuel injection pump in which smoke(black smoke) and particulate (soot) are suppressed by reducing maximum fuel injection rate especially at the time of low speed, high load in the force feed of fuel to a throttle type fuel injection nozzle facing an auxiliary combustion chamber of an auxiliary combustion type diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:Paying attention to controlling of fuel pressure-sending finish timing and reduction of maximum injection rate especially at he time of low speed, high load, by the combination with the throttle type fuel injection nozzle, at the time of high load, a sub-port 54 communicates with a lower sub-lead 58 but a main port 53 does not communicate with a lower main lead 56. Then, at the time of low load, the main port 53 communicates with the lower main lead 56 but the sub-port 54 does not communicate with the lower sub-lead. |
