<p>PURPOSE:To realize regeneration of a wash coat layer including no damage by changing combustion condition when a filter on which the wash coat layer is formed so as to carry a catalyst oxide is regenerated, and heating particulates at a high temperature after separating SO2, so as to combustion-eliminate the particulates. CONSTITUTION:Particulates and So2 in exhaust gas are collected in a porous filter 8. When a pressure difference between an inlet side 231 and an outlet 232 is generated in proportion to passing of a time and the pressure difference exceeds a prescribed value, it is detected by a pressure difference sensor 12, a command is given through a valve opening control unit 112 in a central control device 11 so as to throttle an opening degree of an intake throttle valve 20 in an intermediate level. Engine combustion condition is changed so as to raise an exhaust temperature, and SO2 which is adsorbed on a filter 8 is separated. After that, the opening degree of the intake throttle valve 20s is increased in a large level so as to more raise the exhaust temperature. The particulates which are collected on the filter 8 are combustion-eliminated, so that regeneration of the filter 8 may be completed.</p> |
