摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a headlamp's optical axis controlling apparatus by which the distribution cost is suppressed, the quality of a headlamp is guaranteed and in which an assembly error of an aiming mechanism hardly occurs, the aiming mechanism is built in efficiently, and the initial setting can be reset without taking out the aiming mechanism at the time when a gear part of an operational bolt is broken. CONSTITUTION:A headlamp's optical axis controlling apparatus has a case 40 of an aiming mechanism 30 attachable to the rear end face of the apparatus main body 20, an operational bolt 31 which is so attached to the case 40 as to be operated manually from outside of the case 40 and has an operational gear part 33 at the tip end part, and a gear part 35 to be geared with the operational gear part 33 of the operational bolt 31 in the outer circumference of the shaft center part. The apparatus is also provided with the aiming mechanism which has, in one end, a joining part 36 to join a primary operation terminal 23 of an aiming shaft 22 in the way the terminal can slide in the axial direction and is prevented from rotating in the circumferential direction and, in the other end, a position adjusting element 34 having a secondary operation terminal 39 with the same structure as that of the primary operation terminal 23 of the aiming shaft 22, wherein the operation terminals 23, 39 are exposed and installed in the rear end faces of apparatus main body 20 and the case 40, respectively.</p>
