<p>PURPOSE:To provide a quick acting impregnation type cathode body structure, used in a quick action type electronic tube, in which a riseup time can be shortened by remarkably reducing heat capacity of the impregnation type cathode body structure. CONSTITUTION:In an impregnation type cathode body structure having a high melting point metal base unit 2 impregnated with an electron emitting substance 1, heater for heating this high melting point metal base unit 2 and an insulator, the body structure is constituted by directly film-forming and laminating the insulator and heater in a reverse surface of the high melting point metal base unit. In the insulator, an insulating material of boron nitride 3 or the like is film-formed and laminated by a film forming device of CVD or the like, and in the heater, a conductive material of carbon 4 or the like is film-formed and laminated by a film forming device of CVD or the like. In this way, reducing a heat capacity and heat radiation loss of the impregnation type electrode body structure is attained.</p> |
