<p>PURPOSE: To reduce alias distortion generated at the time of operating an image, especially, at the time of dividing the video into several small zones. CONSTITUTION: An input image is constituted of plural tiles including plural pixels. For each tile in a first type in which all the pixels belonging to the tile are present in the same small area, the local compressibility of the tile by an operation is calculated, and for each tile in which the pixels belonging to the tile are present in more than two small areas, the local compressibility of the adjacent tile in the first type closest to each pixel of each tile in the same small zones as each pixel is selected. Then, the pixels of the plural tiles are spatially filtered under the consideration of the local compressibility.</p> |
