PURPOSE:To provide the developing man-hour estimating method for program so as to estimate the total number of steps required for program development by judging which kinds of program processing are combined for dealing with requested processing. CONSTITUTION:The requested processing is defined in a processing summary definition table 10 for each processing procedure, and this is inputted to a computer as definition data. Next, each kind of program processing required for realizing the requested processing is extracted by executing program processing pattern name discriminating processing 1 and finally, the total number of steps for program development is estimated by executing step number accumulating processing 2 and accumulating a number 13 of steps corresponding to extracted program processing pattern names. Thus, the requested processing can be exactly described, and man-hour for program development can be estimated in a short time. |
