BENT TYPE OR RIGHT ANGLE TYPE ELECTRIC CONNECTOR, ELECTRIC RECEPTACLE, ELECTRIC HEADER AND CONDUCTIVE SHIELD

PURPOSE: To avoid cross talk by arranging conductive shield plates and/or shield pins every fixed numbers of group arranged contact elements. CONSTITUTION: One edge of contact element consisting of metallic pin of 0.63 mm square forms a first connector contact 145 contacting to a mated female type contact element and the other edge forms a second connector contact 155 connected to a PCB circuit through a center part 136 bent in right angle. A middle press-in part 137 passes through a base 142 made of insulating material by means of shrink-fit it forms, e.g. 4 rows×150 columns. A shield 300 made of a conductive non-magnetic material is provided with a partition 302 and partitions among lines at the right-angled center part 136 to shield each other. The right-angled center part 136 of contact element does not exist, e.g. every other element at the very top row of the arrangement, and the second connector contact 155 extends straight to engage with the shield 300. Thereby, cross talk is avoided by intervening a grounded pin every 7 pins of contact elements.
