PURPOSE:To further reduce noise and enhance the performance of a flow rate by encircling an entire region in the suction direction of a cross flow fan as seen from the center of the cross flow fan with two heat exchangers. CONSTITUTION:Two heat exchangers 8a and 8b installed independently on the front side and the rear side are laid out in such a fashion that the entire region in the suction direction (160 to 200 deg. of a cross flow fan may be encircled at the center as seen from the center of the cross flow fan, connecting the two heat exchangers 8a and 8b. This construction makes it possible to make smooth the suction flow without its drifting and form a minimized turbulent flow space and reduce the noise. At the same time, it is possible to unify the distribution of in-flow velocity a the outer periphery of the fan 2, thereby enhancing the performance of a flow rate.
