STATIONARY OBJECT DISCRIMINATING MOBILE BODY RADAR DEVICE

PURPOSE:To discriminate a stationary object from a mobile object through a simple computing process and to measure a distance to the mobile object without being disturbed by the stationary object, in a stationary object discriminating type mobile body radar device which continuously radiates a radio wave forward while changing a frequency thereof and receives a reflected wave so as to measure a distance to the stationary object or the mobile body in front. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a measuring means 15 for measuring a moving speed of a mobile body itself; a correcting means 16 for computing a shift quantity on a frequency spectrum possesed by a stationary object peak due to the moving speed, on the basis of the moving speed to correct at least either of two kinds of frequency spectrums with the shift quantity; and a discriminating means 17 for discriminating a correction effect in a corresponding peak on the corrected two kinds of frequency spectrums so as to discriminate whether the peak is the stationary object or the mobile object.
