<p>PURPOSE:To provide an exhaust gas cooler which can treat exhaust gas of a high temperature and in which no dust is adhered. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas cooler has a cooling water atomizing nozzle 14 provided in exhaust gas to be discharged from an ash melting furnace to atomize cooling water to cool the exhaust gas, and comprises a cylindrical cooling cylinder 4 formed of a cooling water channel 2a of a water cooling jacket 2 formed of a double shell structure of steel to spray the water to cool the exhaust gas in a casing body 1 of the cooler. Accordingly, a lining of a refractory material in which dust is easily adhered is eliminated, and the exhaust gas of a high temperature can be cooled.</p> |
