PURPOSE:To provide a connector by which a conductive member such as a flat cable or a flexible printed circuit can be connected and disconnected with small operation force. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 4 is held by a housing l having an inserting recessed part 2. Contact parts 6a and 7a are arranged on a first operation piece 6 and a second operation piece 7 arranged on the terminal 4, and an operation piece 9 is continuously arranged on the tip of the second operation piece 7. An inclined face 17 to elastically deform the operation piece 9 is arranged on a slider 11 to be extracted from and inserted in the inserting recessed part 2 of the housing 1. The operation piece 9 is pressed by the inclined face 17 by pullout of the slider 11, and a space between a pair of contact parts 6a and 7a is opened by a thickness or more of a conductive member A by elastic deformation of the operation piece 9. A terminal part of the conductive member A is inserted between the contact parts 6a and 7a, and press of the operation piece 9 is released by pushing-in of the slider 11, and the terminal part of the conductive member A is elastically sandwiched by the pair of contact parts 6a and 7a. In a condition where the slider 11 is extracted and the inclined face 17 elastically deforms the operation piece 9, the conductive member A is extracted, and the connection is released. |
