ELECTRIC CONNECTOR

PURPOSE: To provide an electric connector which has a large number of receptacle sockets and a low profile and is for a small high density circuit board. CONSTITUTION: This electric connector is to be installed in a circuit plate 13 and comprises a thin and long insulating strip 20 and sockets 21 to be inserted into a large number of passages 27 of the strip 20. The sockets 21 have solder tabs 35 extended outward from the rim part of the strip 20 and connected with a circuit pad 37 of a circuit plate 13 by soldering.
