PURPOSE: To provide a multipurpose signal processor capable of being applied advantageously for a musical sound generating system or a musical sound signal processing system. CONSTITUTION: This processor is provided with a network including at least one wave guide having a first delay 27 which transmits a first rail signal to one direction, and a second delay 27 which transmits a second rail signal to an opposite direction to this one direction. Also, this network is provided with at least one junction 26 which connects the first rail to the second rail, and connects the second rail to the first rail, and at least partially transmits the same signal by the first and second rails. An acoustic wave transmitting medium is modeled by the wave guide network, and the distribution of a progressive wave and a reflected wave to the pertinent acoustic wave transmitting medium is modeled by the junction. |
