PURPOSE:To shorten time required for a first copy at the time of applying a power source or starting a copy in a type that the consumption of electric power is reduced. CONSTITUTION:A controller 150 driving a manually feeding roller 114a or one of the pickup rollers 118a-118c from the first to the third at the time of applying the power source of a device main body 101 is provided. Thus, a paper sheet can be previously carried up to a resist roller 120 during warming up an operation for forming an image on a photoreceptor 104 can be immediately executed without waiting for the arrival of the paper at the resist roller 120 at the time of starting the copy and the first copy time can be shortened by a waiting time for the arrival of the paper. |
