GAS BUOY

摘要

The gas buoy is used in seismology and in oil prospecting geology. It measures the discharge and the pressure of the natural gas from the undersea gas springs on the whole aquatory of the coastal zone and the shelf, the measurement data being used for the prognostication of future earth tremors. The gas buoy is a system of anchors (1) and a buoy (6) connected by a chain (3) and a hose (4). The discharge and the pressure of the gas stream is measured by means of a flow meter (9) and pressure sensor (10), and the data are processed and transmitted to the coast by means of a processor (12) and radio transmitter (13).
