<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the coder effective even to a luminance change of an object such as change in lighting by obtaining a motion vector from moving vectors of surrounding grid points for each picture element signal so as to predict motion compensation. CONSTITUTION:After the detection of a motion vector of a control grid, a luminance (chrominance) change is detected and the obtained luminance (chrominance) parameter is used to correct the luminance (chrominance) after the picture element interpolation. When its own signal is processed, each control grid point has information (ui, vi, gi), where the ui is a horizontal component of a motion vector, the v1 is a vertical component and the g) is a luminance change. A motion vector (u, v) is obtained from equation I by a picture element point (x, y). Since values a0.0, a0.1, a1.0, a1.1, b0, b1 has a relation expressed in equation II with respect to information (u0, v0, g0), (u2, v2, g2) of three grid points (x0, y0), (x1, y1), (x2, y2), they are obtained from the matrix. A change g1 in the luminance (chrominance) signal is obtained from equations III, IV.</p> |
