PURPOSE:To inform a user of the priority field at the KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) conversion by displaying the field of the prepared document which is judged in the process of the KANA/KANJI conversion of the document in the inputted sentence. CONSTITUTION:A CPU is a microprocessor and performs the arithmetic and logic judgement for character processing, controlling each component connected to the bus through an address bus AB, control bus CB, and databus DB. In a writable random access memory RAM, a word dictionary for KANA/KANJI conversion, learning data dictionary for KANA/KANJI conversion, and field priority information storing the conversion priority degree of the field to which the word to be converted by the KANA/KANJI conversion belongs are stored. The words stored in the word dictionary consist of the reading, notation, grammatical information, frequency and field information. The field of the document in preparing sentences is judged and is displayed on a display device CRT based on the judgement result. |
