PURPOSE:To reduce generation of black smoke at the time of starting by increasing and correcting a fuel injection quantity according to an increase in engine speed within a range from zero of an engine speed at the time of starting to a predetermined engine speed set to a value slightly lower than a normal idling engine speed. CONSTITUTION:An inverter circuit 4 is provided for converting electric power into an AC voltage of a frequency suitable for inducing a rotation magnetic field in a cage-type inducer 2 so as to impart it to the cagetype inducer 2 and for converting an AC electric power from the cage-type inducer 2 into a DC electric power. Brake energy of an automobile is stored as electric energy in a secondary battery circuit 3, to thus convert the electric energy into mechanical energy at the time of acceleration of the automobile and impart auxiliary power to an engine. The diesel engine is controlled in such a manner that a fuel injection quantity is increased according to an increase in engine speed within a range from zero of an engine speed at the time of starting to a predetermined engine speed set to a value slightly lower than an engine speed of normal idling, thus restraining generation of black smoke at the time of starting. |
