PURPOSE:To operate synchronous machines stably by a method wherein the tap value of the transformer with LTC of the synchronous machine which is already connected to a system and the tap value of the transformer with LTC of a synchronous machine which is to be connected are compared with each other and, if the tap values are different, the tap values are made to be equal to each other and then PSVR control and SVR LTC tap control are performed. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of a three synchronous machines 1A, 1B and 1C are connected to a same system 4 through transformers 3A, 3B and 3C having LTC's. If the first synchronous machine 1A is connected to the system 4 while the second synchronous machine 1B has already been connected to the system and is under PSVR control, a first PSVR LTC control signal is turned on and a first following instruction signal is turned on and a first PSVR control is excluded. Further, the other machine LTC following instruction signal of a second following processing unit 15B is turned on and second LTC control is turned off and a first LTC tap changing relay 18A is turned on to perform tap countup control until the LTC tap of the first transformer 3A having LTC is equal to the second LTC tap. As a result, the synchronous machines can be operated stably. |
