TIME INDICATOR

The indicator is designed for street traffic lights. It supplies timely, objective and accurate information to the drivers of motor-transport vehicles for the remaining time until the expiry of red and green lights, for the regulation of the travelling speed and for fuel consumption. The indicator contains, connected in series: encoding unit (1), multiplexor unit (2), binary-decimal counters unit (8), converter into seven-segment code unit, thyristor unit (10) and indication boards (11). The signal processing unit (4) is connected to the multiplexor counter unit (2) and to the binary -decimal counters unit (8). The pulse formation unit (6) is connected , across a frequency division unit (7), to the binary-decimal counters unit (8)./!
