<p>The illuminated display card is a display unit in the form of a matrix of illuminated points, similar to equipment used to display travelling advertising messages. The essential differences are found in the physical dimensions, since the illuminated display card is smaller than a cigarette packet, in the operating principle, and in the purpose. The illuminated display card is essentially a "gadget", on whose display there appear travelling patterns and words which are stored by the vendor according to the "text" provided by the purchaser, and which can play short tunes which "accompany" the visual message. The possible applications include: 1) Greeting cards in general. 2) It can be fitted in boxes for holding articles or in photograph frames. For example, the illuminated display card can be fitted in a "bonbonniere" so that when the latter is opened the message recorded by the married couple appears, and a tune is played. 3) It can be fitted in panels for exhibitions or in plates to be applied to doors. <IMAGE></p> |
