COMPONENTS FOR GRINDING FANS AND METHOD FOR THEIR FABRICATION

The components are used in the thermoelectic power stations for coal grinding and in the mining equipment for coal mining. Longitudinal and lateral grooves are machined symmetrically on the basic plate of the components, and filling conical apertures and wear-resistant coating on the contact surfaces of the components are fitted in the places of their intersection. By the method, the basic plate is cast or cut out of low carbon steel and is mechanically treated for the fabrication of the longitudinal and lateral grooves, and conical holes are bored in the places where they intersect. Through the holes the components are coated by wear resistant coating until they are fully covered which increases the operational life of the components several times and reduces the production and operational costs.
