PURPOSE:To provide a fan device compact and lightweight with desirable rotatory-driving efficiency by disposing a rotor integrally fixed to the end part of a fan, a stator forming a DC brushless motor jointly with the rotor, a vibration isolating means, a current control means for the stator, and the like. CONSTITUTION:A fan device such as a lateral flow fan device 20 is fitted into the indoor unit of an air conditioner. In this case, a lateral flow fan put in air blasting action being rotated around a rotary shaft is installed, and a rotor 22 is integrally fixed to the end plate 2 of the lateral flow fan 1. A stator 26 is fixed to the indoor unit. This stator 26 is rotatably combined with the rotor 22 while forming a DC brushless motor 21 jointly with the rotor 22. The stator 26 is additionally provided with a vibration isolating means 37 formed of an elastic body so as to prevent the vibration of the stator 26 from being transmitted to the indoor unit. A current flowing to the stator 26 is controlled by a control circuit 43, and the motor 21 is driven to rotate the lateral flow fan 1. |
