PURPOSE:To allow designing of power supply for a facility without requiring expert knowledge by selecting a component of hardware specifications adaptable to each facility load from a data base and determining the graphical symbol of selected component as the power supply component for a branch line assigned to the facility load. CONSTITUTION:A design program 110 as a kernel, a load facility total file 100, a component total file 101, a symbol file 101, and a design rule file 103 are used, for example, wherein the program 110 outputs a design data 105 and a design drawing 106. The component total file 101 comprises a data base of components associated with a power supply circuit along with the characteristics thereof. The symbol file 102 is a data base of graphic symbols (preferably regulated by JIS). The design rule file 103 prescribes various rules required for formation of power supply circuit. This constitution allows designing of the power supply circuit for a facility without requiring expert knowledge. |
