PURPOSE:To make the movement of an electrolyte easy and maintain the stable performance for a long time by arranging a net-shaped carbon fiver cloth formed by knitting a plurality of carbon fibers or a carbon fiber aggregate formed by bundling a plurality of short carbon fibers in an electrode catalyst layer. CONSTITUTION:Slurry-like ink is prepared by dispersing catalyst powder formed by carrying platinum in a carbon black carrier and PTFE dispersion in water. The ink is applied to a net-shaped carbon fiber cloth formed by knitting a plurality of carbon single fibers, serving as an electrode base material, and heated or freeze-vacuum-dried, then they are baked at a specified temperature to prepare an electrode catalyst layer 4a. |
