PURPOSE:To provide an effective system as the technology of the sound source generating device composed of a low-frequency driving system. CONSTITUTION:The sound source device has a reference signal generating circuit, a melody management means 4, an envelope memory management means 6, a wave memory management means 100, and an envelope memory 7 and a wave memory 200 which store PCM-coded data; and the reference signal generating circuit 1 consists of a low-speed oscillator 301 and a low-speed reference generation means 302, the wave memory 200 consists of plural scale data, and the wave memory management means 100 for accessing the wave memory 200 consists of a scale selecting means 101 and a wave address management means 102. Consequently, a system which uses a low-speed microcomputer or has a low-speed D/A converting circuit of 16kHz, etc., can output respective scales by performing arithmetic processing instantaneously. |
