PURPOSE:To increase the pitch dimension allowance at the fixing part and the contact area of the surface by arranging one circular fixing hole and two elongated fixing holes at the vertexes of a triangle and setting the angle, formed between the long axis of each elongated hole and the line connecting the center of the circular hole and the center of each elongated hole, within a specific range. CONSTITUTION:First to third fixing holes 15, 16 and 17 are arranged at the vertexes of a triangle. Stud bolts 25-27 are then inserted into the fixing holes 15-17 and tightened thus fixing the protector 10 for a wire harness 11 to the body. The fixing hole 15 is a circular hole whereas the fixing holes 16, 17 are elongated holes. The orientation of the fixing hole 16 is set such that the angle theta1 formed between the long axis 16a of the fixing hole 16 and the line 18 connecting the centers of the fixing holes 15, 16 comes within a range of 30 deg.-60 deg.. The orientation of the fixing hole 17 is set such that the angle theta2 formed between the long axis 17a thereof and the line connecting the centers of the fixing holes 15, 17 also comes in a range of 30 deg.-60 deg.. |
