QUINOLONE CARBOXYLIC ACID DERIVATIVES AND THEIR PROCESS OF THE PREPARING THEM

This is new quinolonecarboxylic acid and its parmaceutically acceptable salt of formula(I). In formula, R1 is C1-C3 cyclic or acyclic lower alkyl gp.; R2 and R3 each hydrogen, C1-C2 alkyl, phenyl, CO2R4, SO2R4 or COR4; Q oxygen or nitrogen atom; Y hydrogen or amino gp.;and X nitrogen, C-H or C-halogen. This compd. is prepared by condensing the quinoloncarboxylic acid of formula(II) and the compd. of (III) or its HCl salt for 1-8 hrs at room temp to 200 degree C. This compd. has better antibacterial activity than cyprofloxacine against gram positive bacteria .
