A device for removing foreign bodies from the eye is disclosed. The device is designed as a rod-shaped part (1) with a handle section (2) and a section (3) provided with a substance that adheres to the skin. By laying the section (3) provided with the adhesive substance on the eyelid, the part (1) adheres to the eyelid, so that by turning the part (1) the eyelid may be turned round, exposing the foreign body. Foreign bodies may thus be quickly and easily removed.
