Determining position of lift cabin

A device for measuring the position of a lift cabin has a sensor in the cabin roof, mounted so that it is stable. In the shaft is a strip with holes and carriers, also with holes, for adjustable magnets. The magnets are snapped in or screwed in. The strip is held between fixed points at the top and bottom of the shaft. There is also a safety device to register if the strip gets torn. Instead of magnets, optically sensitive markers can be used. The magnets are registered by monostable or bistable magnetic switches in the sensor head. The magnet carries are made from ferromagnetic material.
