The sheath (4) and core (1) are made of acrylic glass. Under the depolymerisation conditions of the acrylic glass used to make the sheath, the core emits the same monomer as the sheath, or a monomer which can be separated by distillation from the monomer of the sheath. The core and sheath material are identical. The sheath is laminated by adhesive (3) onto the core which is in the form of a hollow panel.
