<p>The present invention relates to water-dilutable polyurethane resins in which use is made in their production of diols of the formula (I) in which R1 and R2 are the same or different radicals and stand for an alkyl radical with 1 to 18 C atoms, an aryl or a cycloaliphatic radical, with the proviso that R1 and/or R2 may not be methyl, and/or diols of the formula (II) in which R3, R4, R6 and R7 are the same or different radicals and R3, R4, R6 and R7 are an alkyl radical with 1 to 6 atoms, a cycloalkyl radical or an aryl radical and R5 is an alkyl radical with 1 to 6 C atoms, an aryl radical or an unsaturated alkyl radical with 1 to 6 C atoms, and n is either 0 or 1.</p> |
