Motion control unit for servomotor

The motion control unit allows precise conversion of the output of the servomotor into a movement of a load element. The motion of the motor shaft is monitored by sensors (2) providing position and/or velocity data as input to a controller (1). The output is applied to the load by the motor and the load motion is monitored (4) and feedback provided to the controller. Corrections can be determined and applied. The motion command data may be held in memory.
