The valve housing has an air inlet, an air outlet and a magnetic head joined to the housing and fitted with a gate. The air inlet and air outlet are joined by a connecting chamber within the head and this chamber is opened or closed according to the excitation state of the magnet. The connecting chamber consists of several parallel chambers (8a,9a) whose total cross sectional area is equal to that of the air inlet (6) and air outlet (7). These chambers may alternatively run concentric to the axis of the magnet head.
