The crate has uprights (2) resp. uprights with end stops (3) which may be folded down when empty. A turning mechanism consists of a stud (9) with shoulder (9a), and a turnable plate (10), connected to the stud via a screw (9b). The plate is directly connected to the upright. The stud has a bolt, which moves up and down in a vertical slot (12), to act as a support profile. Alternatively, the uprights may have devices so that they can be lowered to the floor when not in use.
