The internal combustion engine distributor has a shaft (2) which rotates in synchronism with the motor crank shaft. A signal rotor rotates with the shaft (2). A rotation signal detector (4) detects the angle of rotation of the crank shaft from the rotation of the signal rotor. An ignition coil (7) applies a high voltage to an ignition core of each cylinder. For internal combustion, the distributor also has a first plug connector (15) to electrically connect a combustion engine control unit outside the distributor and the signal detector (4). A second plug connector (25) electrically connects the control unit and the ignition coil (7). The first and second plug connectors (15,25) are formed integrally with the signal detector (4).
