A device designed to automatically attach a pocket pouch for small articles such as coins to the inside wall of a garment pocket comprises a means for feeding a piece of fabric (11) to be formed into a pouch (12), a means for folding back and ironing three side brims of the piece of fabric, a means for turning the folded pouch to the sewing site, and a means for sewing the three sides of the folded pouch to the inside wall of the pocket. The feeding means includes a lower pattern plate (21) and an upper pattern plate (22). The folding and ironing means includes a bed plate (23), a pouch pattern plate (24) pushing the fabric down, and a pair of folding members (25, 26). The turning means includes a rack and pinion gear system (28). The sewing means includes a sewing machine and a positioning plate (29) movable in x-y direction.
