Vehicle seat with position adjustment

The vehicle seat (1) is fitted with a rail (3) under each side edge to interlock with a front rail (4) on a tilting floor support (7) and with a rear rail (5) on a height adjustable tilt support. The seat height can be adjusted by the rear mounting and the seat longitudinal setting is adjustable by the rails. The settings can be locked in any position. The front tilt mounting is braced on a transverse support bar (7) which provides lateral strength an a side impact. The rear mounting is via tilt levers (8) to raise and lower the rear of the seat. The height adjustment also involves some longitudinal adjustment.
