A method of reprocessing rubber-containing waste to produce engine fuel and chemicals involves heat treatment of the rubber-containing waste at a temperature of 270-420 °C and a pressure of 1-6 MPa in a hydrocarbon solvent in the form of waste obtained in synthetic rubber production, the weight ratio of solvent to the initial rubber-containing waste being 2-4:1. The process can be carried out in the presence of a rare-earth metal, intermetallic compounds of rare-earth metals, titanium hydride or calcium oxide.
|
