To splice a yarn at a spinner, using a spiral air flow, a guide or bobbin yarn (Y) at the take-up side is inserted into a hollow spindle (s) or spindle section (S) separate from the jet (N). A compressed air flow is generated in an air chamber (8) which is formed by a combination of the spindle (S) and jet (N) sections. Also claimed is a spinning machine with a needle-type guide section (5), with its free end facing the upper end of the hollow spindle (s), at an inner wall of the jet section. |
