Slatted grid for double or single beds

The transverse connection is used in the construction of a single or double bed. It consists of two slats (10,12) which are supported and tensioned on the bed-frame (1) by intermediate struts and a cable connection (13) on the inner edge side of the frame, so as to be free of lengthwise forces. Annular sleeves used as intermediate struts (11) are elastically mounted between the slats so that they roll and are fixed to the bottom slat by a rubber tube which enclosed the slats. The cable connection is clamped to the slats for positioning them and fixing them to the frame.
