The hollow piston rod (29) of the oscillation damper (23) at least partly constitutes a return circuit for the magnetic flux. The guide (13) of the tie-piece (5) is positioned outside the primary magnetic flux. Inside the guide there is at least one part (5a,11) made of material with low magnetic conductivity. The tie piece has a narrower-sectioned part (5g) dividing the magnetic flux into a main and a subsidiary circuit. The tie-piece is coaxial with the inductor body (3) which has a stepped shape. The tie-piece with inductor core (7) has an axial covering (5c).
