The album comprises several loose leaves, corresponding to the size and number of pictures to be inserted on the front and rear side of each leaf. The leaves have holes on one, two or all side edges, safeguarding any arbitrary arrangement of the pictures in horizontal or vertical position. If the picture size is 9 x 13 cm and a leaf size of min. 13 x 26 cm, two pictures can be retained on the leaf front and rear side respectively, assuming that the opposite leaf edges have binding mechanism holes. Thus seven standard size leaves are required for all possible sequences.
